An idea for a new kind of strike I had today

While slaving away in the capitalist machine today, I thought about a kind of strike that would be extra damaging to a company. Granted, I’m likely not the first to think of such a strike and if there’s a name for it or real life examples, please let me know. Anyways, I wondered what it would be like if all the workers in fast food/retail type businesses decided to just come into work like a normal day, clock in, and proceed to continue business without accepting money from customers. A customer would come in, pick out their items or order their food, the items/food would be rung up on the register, the employee would log it as cash so the system thinks it has been paid for and then inform the customer of the strike, and the customer goes about their day. By the time the company figured out, they’d likely already have tens of thousands in loses.

Does this concept already exist? What would it be like in practice?
