Hello folks. I am new here, but i would like to ask you about your opinion. My mom send me this “story”, and i would like to here your thoughts.

THE STORY:
There was once a boy who did not like living in his father's house because of the constant discipline required.
– If you're not using it, turn off the fan!
– The TV is playing in the room and you are not there. Turn it off!
– Lock the door.
– Stop wasting water.
The boy did not like it when his father annoyed him with such trifles.
He had to endure it until the day he decided to go for his first job interview.
“As soon as I get this job, I'm leaving the house,” he muttered under his breath.

When he was going after him, his father advised him what to do.
– Answer the questions without hesitation. Even if you don't know the answer, say it confidently.
The boy shrugged and made his way to the interview location where he found that there was no security guard at the door. Although they were wide open, it was probably uncomfortable for people walking through or exiting them. So he closed the door behind him and entered the courtyard. There were beautiful flowers on both sides of the driveway, but the gardener had left the faucet open and water was running from the hose. Water was pouring onto the driveway. The boy picked up the hose, placed it next to the other plants that also needed water, and then turned on the faucet.
There was no one at the reception, but there was an announcement that the interview was taking place on the first floor.
The boy slowly climbed the stairs.
Even though it was already ten o'clock, the lights were still on, probably left on since morning. He remembered his father's warning. “Why do you leave the room without turning off the light?”
He thought he could hear him now. Exasperated by the thought alone, he fumbled for the switch and turned them off. Upstairs in a large room, he saw several people standing, waiting for their turn.
He counted the people and asked himself if he even had a chance of getting the job.
He entered the room with some trepidation and stepped onto the welcome mat next to the door to find it upside down. He therefore turned it to its original position.
Habits are hard to forget.
He saw many men enter the room and immediately leave through another door.
So no one knew what they were asking during the interview.
When it was his turn, he faced his employer with some trepidation.
He took the documents from him and asked him without looking at him.
– When can you start work?
He answered.
– Is it just a trick to be asked at an interview, or is it that easy to get a job?
– What do you think? – the boss asked him. – We don't ask anyone questions here because we don't think we can judge someone's abilities through them. Therefore, our test is to assess the attitudes of a particular person. We conducted several tests to monitor the candidates' behavior and observed them through security cameras. None of them came here today to do anything like close the door, turn off the lights, put the hose away… put the welcome mat back in place. You were the only one who did! That's why we decided to choose you for this job,” said the boss.
The boy had always struggled with his father's discipline, but only now did he realize that it was thanks to her that he got his first job.
Everything our parents tell us is for our good, because they wish us a good future!
