I’m a sociopath, I was diagnosed with ASPD., and also a business owner, granted I treat my employees good from what they say, but I run my company from a productive mindset, not a financial mindset, but ether way I am an extremely apathetic self centered person. People with ASPD are much more likely to be CEO’s lawyers, and so on. Prison too, but still.
So here is a prospective, if I was your self centered asshole boss.
First off, you can quit all day long, the worst case scenario, they would have to use a staffing company like pride staff, or other ones. We have a population of 300+ million, and since Reagan gutted unions, and implemented right to work laws and employment at will, bosses treat their employees how they view their employees….which is expendable.
Even with the birth rate down, which is every developed nation, 300+ million is a lot of people. A factory near my house that does pet products has a 110% turnover rate, and guess what. Because they have contracted a staffing firm, for every 3 that quit they throw 5 more sad SOB’s in.
Yes, there are a lot of industries that are getting hit by boomers retiring, but even when those great jobs are filled 90+% of the population is still going to be working in a dead end job, where their life is just drained.
Also, this one’s going to probably sting, but no yes man boss gives a fuck about your personal problems. Your husband/wife have cancer? Don’t care. As long as it doesn’t effect the company, if it does, well you and your problems are going away. You can go ahead and tell that story on glass door, but if the company is big enough, it doesn’t matter. Cause there is always someone desperate enough to take the job.
So, how can you fix it? I maybe a sociopath, but I went through therapy, and a firm Nordic Social Democrat. It’s just the best system from a social point of view.
- Well you can get someone elected to change things , which will be extremely hard cause the rich did the perfect blend. Where you have enough stuff to push you to keep on living, but depressed and anxious enough, where doing optional things like voting is exhausting. EU and Nordic countries have laws like this in place, but the culture in America which is self centered, is vastly different then those place, if it wasn’t the US would have universal healthcare.
Plus, even if you did elect someone for the workers, it would take no time to get another Reagan back in to change it back. I mean one political party is designed from the ground up to fuck the working class, and they still get elected. Red states are a dream come true to a rich person, and the democrats, well they’re toothless.
- This one is very unlikely, but using force. Stock up on guns, and become the next Black Panther, but for the workers, pretty much match the republicans, but more structured. Yeah you might be at risk, but the people who died during the Ludlow Massacre won in the long run. Same with the battle of Blair Mountain, or the bonus army. Also, the added benefit that you will be remembered.
From my own prospective, if I was a billionaire, I would only care if you had something to hold over my head, and the thought of getting bushwhacked by pissed off workers is definitely something I would be extremely afraid of.
But still very unlikely. American workers like I said have been conditioned in a way to have enough things they like TVs, PS5’s, Xbox’s and so on, alongside being burnt out, and depressed, and financially strained, where they won’t do a damn thing, besides get on social media and rant.
Young people won’t get the fuck up and vote for someone like Bernie to shift the Democratic Party, let alone do anything to risk their own wellbeing. Bernie’s support compared to his turnout was fucking embarrassing.
And the bitch of it all, is because they were conditioned that way, their kids will be too, and get thrown in a system that will over work them till they die. But taught by friends and the school system that all that matters is short term gratification from social media and following Orders, so they can “be on the grind” or what ever stupid shit they say.
Again, this is just a post to give clarification from the prospective of someone who is emotionally void, and self centered, and manipulative, and to get in the mind of someone who is your boss, and completely self centered, and apathetic.
But my personality disorder, and my subjective morals are two different things. I’m a pro union social democrat, I cognitively choose to be against this shit I said, cause it holds us back as a society, and if society fails, alongside climate change, I’m fucked just like everyone else.
