Another Monday

Another week I only had 1 day off and didn’t even get any overtime so now here comes Monday where I am even less recharged and ready for another 5 days, 40+ hours before a day off. I am so tired of American working conditions. -The 1 day off in 7 working rule is outdated. -The 40 hour work week is outdated. -A week or two of vacation time a year (if you’re “lucky”) not even guaranteed is outdated. -No guaranteed sick time and again being “lucky” to have a week or two a year is outdated. -So many companies in the US still refusing even partial WFH policies or making people return to the office for no reason other than their beloved real estate is outdated. I see so many commenters on here from the US who have it WAY worse than I do, which isn’t even good, and…

I see so many commenters on here from the US who have it WAY worse than I do, which isn’t even good, and I’m sick of it. I’m sick of European members being shocked by how terrible our working conditions are.

Most of all, I’m sick of not really being able to do anything of it. Our political parties and system are broken. Unions for almost all workers here are dead.

I really love this sub and support it full heartedly I just really wish there was some REAL action I could take instead of just sitting here and bitching about it.
