I just got out of a Zoom interview with a company that wanted me to work 50 hours a week from now to mid-august unpaid this was a HR-type clerical job that is basically a resume mill.
I don't know what else to say other than I am completely baffled and shocked by the arrogance of some of these companies. Who in the right mind thinks they can ask you to work 50 hours a week for no-money, support yourself and go to school?
Is this normal? I am a student veteran; I have held several civilian jobs as well as being in the armed forces and I cannot imagine anyone, especially a college student, looking at this opportunity and being like huh sounds good.
What the hell?
