A while ago i started posting a lot of screenshots from this subreddit on my facebook in an attempt to open the eyes of some of my more conservative family members to exactly why the current system we have is fucked up.
Ive also been gearing myself up to quit my job for the past few weeks (saving money, job hunting ect..), so the screenshots also served as a warning sign to my boss, who i have had added as a friend on facebook since i started working (big mistake i know.)
Well i walked in today, and my boss goes “I got good news and bad news. Good news is, youre getting a raise. Bad news is, you'll still probably bitch about it….you know what you did.”
When talking to the assistant manager about it later i asked what he was mad about, and he goes ” 100% its the stuff youve been posting on facebook.”
So….neat! Still tryna quit though lmao
