I am applying for a job at an advertising agency with pretty good pay for my role (90k) and the healthcare is pretty meh but the company is doing interesting work for my field.
I did a huge deep dive on this company and found out they ask employees to sign non-compete clauses and was wondering how enforceable they are? My position is not so specialized that I would be absorbing trade secrets by working there.
They also haven’t even told me about this clause so I plan on bringing it up to their recruiter and seeing what that person has to say about it because I honestly find it so odd for my field to sign such a thing.
