I’m 17 and I wanna know if you guys have any tips for me to not fall into the money trap aka the rat race. I wanna live a life I enjoy I already wasted 10+ years going to school which was soul destroying. I’m weirdly obsessed with YouTube it’s all I think about from the moment I wake up to when I’m trying to sleep even now I’m thinking about it. Instead of studying and doing school I’m studying social media algorithms and how creators on them grow. I’m going to be youtuber or die trying. I know this is a very hard gig to get into since 75% of kids my age want to be a youtuber but what they fail to understand is that YouTube is much more than just recording videos it’s about marketing yourself and there are a lot of skills that are needed to do YouTube. I just don’t want to end up retiring at 80 from a 9 to 5 when I can barely walk or take care of myself I want to see what else life offers.
