Really just a vent but this shit sucks. I’m poor af and struggling paycheck to paycheck. My employer gets 4 weeks to approve our paycheques but god forbid they clear payments 1 day early so I’ve been informed that we will be paid on Monday. So I won’t have transportation for the holiday that I’m forced to work on because I take the bus. I won’t even have my paycheck to order the $40 Uber to get to work. I think the worst part is that I know I won’t even be paid the legally required holiday premium for working the day and can’t afford to be fired for reporting it. I’m so tired and upset and I just want to give up. Any of my fellow Canadians experiencing this?
