This happened last summer, but just thinking about it makes me sick to my stomach
My liberal parents called me lazy for not wanting to work for them last summer. I was going to summer school and working 40+ hours a week at an internship. To make matters worse, my mom would call me lazy when she saw me playing video games for a couple hours on Sunday with my friends. She tried to restrict my video game hours (already almost zero). All of this while I was working for them about 2.5 hours a week.
Glad I moved to the other side of the country for a new job.
For anyone wondering: “His parents don't sound liberal”. The literal definition of liberalism includes capitalism in it's ideology.
