I've been job searching for around 3 months now with absolutely no luck.
first interview i did i was ghosted. then the second interview that i got, i had to go through THREE interviews which took over a month long, just for them to ghost me. they even bought me coffee and gave me a tour of the entire campus. then just ghosted me. then i had another interview opportunity where i did two interviews and then a “working interview” (which i got paid for at least) that took 6.5 hours. they said they would let me know by the end of next week. well it's the end of next week now and they haven't contacted me at all. How could you make me do a “working interview” if you're not gonna offer me the job after? then i had an interview for a remote job with Norweigan cruiselines where the indeed listing said $16 an hour – then I get the offer letter and it's $13 an hour. Even after messaging with the recruiter he doesn't care that they falsely advertised it.
I've applied to more than 60 jobs and that's all the luck i've had. I'm beyond frustrated. why did i even go to college? it all feels like a huge waste. are these companies actually hiring or are they just pretending to be hiring??? so tired of all these old people saying “nobody wants to work these days!” when there's people like me who have been trying to get a job for months with absolutely no luck.
Edit: I want to add that I've seen the same listings on indeed for MONTHS, even jobs that I've interviewed for. Like why are they being so extremely picky if they actually need help?? I can't
