I've been trying to get out of the freelance world as it isn't steady income enough ( although stress free and more freedom) cause I wanna move out of my parents home and also save up more. However. HR ghosts or don't respond even after several follow ups. Then weeks or months later they reach out, assuming the person they chose initially didn't work out. I'm petty though so even though I'm still looking they can go fuck themselves.
After 4+ rounds of interviews (mind you these are entry level positions) plus projects and then ghost is pathetic. By then its usually only a small hand full of people that make it that far, so there's no excuse why you can't send a formal rejection email. One time I did 4 rounds for a door to door sales job that advertised it as “Marketing” lol.
Also, maybe I'm wrong but I was a senior in HD around 2013. I remember hearing that most salaried jobs were one hour (working seven). But now most are 30 minutes and usually eat at the desk. Maybe I remember it wrong. But in the case that I am not, wtf and when did that change?
