I’m at a new job that just in general is better than my old job for a variety of reasons. One of which is that although my hourly wage is less than my old job, I’m given opportunities for overtime which I almost always take and my paychecks are 3x what they were at my old job because of it. My previous employer would cap me at 37 hours/week and I’d get punished for any work that was unfinished because I didn’t have time. Anyone else get frustrated when they’re capped at just barely under 40 hours/week because their employer doesn’t want to pay them overtime?
