Waking up and having a program I wrote do a job for me (or having several programs doing several jobs for me) is the dream come true, as far as post capitalism dreams go.
Several people have either shared their own experiences with doing this or shared others experiences and I want in.
Currently, I'm waiting on an offer from Google for an apprenticeship, but in case I don't get in (though I truly believe I will) I'd love to get started on having a job that is as easy as possible.
I'm interested in the work I'd do with Google, but if I don't get in, I don't want to spend the rest of my life in customer service, which has been almost every job I've had for the past 10 years
Are there any guides for programming with this goal in mind or specific jobs I should look for that lend themselves to automation?
I'd love to not be crushed by the capitalist nightmare without exploiting the labor of others
