A while back, I submitted an “anonymous” whistleblower report.
For some time, there was no response or update.
On Thursday, the report was closed. An internal investigation showed no evidence.
On Friday, I was fired, citing my “performance”.
The HR rep associated with both the investigation and my termination docs was the same person, someone I'd never worked with before.
Yeah, at will employment, burden of proof, coincidence, correlation isn't cause, etc. There's more to it than I'm willing to put into reddit ATM.
