Apparently not telling someone that you’ve already hired another person is good enough

Went to go in for an interview today and the first thing I'm told is they've already hired someone else, the assholes didn't even tell me when I was literally in contact with them the day before. Like if they had told before hand, I would have been annoyed sure but I had to walk down to their shop while in a lot of pain all for nothing. Really scummy and annoying
