Just got the awesome news that apple has placed a hard limit of 20 hours per week on part time employees. My fiancé who normally works roughly 30 hours a week now is being scheduled for 16. Roughly 1k a month less then what she currently makes.
What sucks is she can’t just quit and easily get another job, we’re both in school still and she relies on apple for her health insurance etc. not many places offer the benefits apple does to part time employees.
So I guess we’ll just figure out how to survive on 1k less a month. Shouldn’t be too hard in todays economy. nervous laugh
