Applying for jobs is a job itself.

Except without any pay or benefits, just a minor difference there. Yes the free time is nice to some degree, but only so much when paired up with depleting funds in your bank account and neither your former employer or the government doing shit to assist you when you're unemployed. And when you're applying to so many jobs all day and getting so many rejections…sometimes on the same fucking day you applied…the mental toll isn't exactly the best. And you can't even do that much to take a break from all of it because let's be real, there's not much to do leisurely that's for free. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this.
