My direct supervisor went out with a back injury a month ago. Since then I'm covering for him and doing the work I normally do. I work in a nursing facility and thus far have been keeping up with my normal work load. The thing is, since he's been gone my coworkers demands have been getting more numerous and frivolous. I may have been asked to do ten things a day before and I am asked to do about thirty now and when I can't keep up I'm treated like It's because I'm not trying hard enough.
I explain to people that I'm trying to do the work of myself and a manager but it falls on deaf ears. It's almost like they smell blood in the water and are jumping on me.
Idk, I just had to get it out. I feel like I'm going crazy.
