I’ve looked all over for answers, and I just don’t get how it’s legal to give someone no overtime and insist they’re still in the office for 40 hours. There’s no leaving early or heading out even if you don’t need the full 8 at most places. You need to take PTO. Beyond the obvious “the system is rigged” answer, why does anyone sign up for this? I’m totally baffled.
