Are there any resources you all would recommend for putting fellow proletariats first when submitting feedback on a poor experience with their company?

For context: Recently I was mailed an important piece of equipment for a job I just started. The company 2-day shipped it with FedEx. Two days later, a delivery attempt was made but since I live in an apartment with key access, the delivery driver couldn't get in to deliver the package. So they took it back to the FedEx hub. Thinking “this will happen with future delivery attempts” I tried going on their website to manage my shipment and add either my call code or number to exchange the package. However, you have to verify your address and that takes at least 3 days Sure enough, there was an attempt the next day and the driver couldn't get in again so he took the package back to their hub. I was informed that there would be one more attempt the next day and after that I'd need to go…

Recently I was mailed an important piece of equipment for a job I just started.

However, you have to verify your address and that takes at least 3 days

Sure enough, there was an attempt the next day and the driver couldn't get in again so he took the package back to their hub.

I was informed that there would be one more attempt the next day and after that I'd need to go pick up the package at the hub or I could pick it up the same day after 1:00pm.

I thought to myself “Well, the same thing is going to happen tomorrow and I needed this yesterday so fuck it”.

I took an uber there and back which cost $60 and took over an hour.

When I arrived I was upset. I tried my best to hold it in but I felt like I had to make my concerns apparent and in some points I felt the employee I was talking with took the brunt of my feelings.

I did constantly say “this isn't your fault and I'm sorry if my feelings are coming out that way”

And at some point I said:

“Heck, this isn't even the driver's fault. I'm sure FedEx hires the least amount of drivers to deliver the most amount of packaged for the least amount of money!”

Anyway, I got my package, apologized for my emotions, and went on but I felt really awful. I messaged FedEx help on twitter and let them know the issue and that I wasn't trying to blame anyone but their corporate strategy.

TL; DR: had a bad experience with FedEx and wanted to give feedback without knocking down my fellow proletariat.

So I'm curious: how do you all get your issues across for matters similar to this? How do you ensure you aren't directing your disappointment at a fellow proletariat? Do you use any resources? Are there classes you'd recommend?

I'm just trying to be a good fellow worker.
