Are these warning signs?

So I recentually got hired as an accountant for a government entity. I got sick literally on my first week and told them about it. They said I could work from home instead. That was better than nothing, but I was still really sick and required to work the entire day and felt horrible. I had also previously told them I was carless and they kept on asking me to get a Covid test from a clinic since I was sick. I understand that they wanna make sure I'm Covid-free before heading to the office, but I was having a very hard time getting an in-person Covid test. I was advised to tell Uber so that I could have it done through the drive-thru, but as you could imagine there was nobody willing to sit with me to take a Covid test through the drive-thru. They were pretty inconsiderate in their expectations of me, as they kept asking me if I got the test yet when I couldn't even manage to get a ride there, and I kept expressing how I was trying to figure out what to do.

Then they told me that they would shift my start date up to next week since I had worked from home for two days. But somehow I saw emails where others from my job were communicating with eachother about how I was going to show up in-person on Thursday. They had already told me to just take the day off and come in on Monday. Also I got a little rude “Ok” text from my supervisor when I informed them that I was taking “long” to get a Covid test because I basically have to walk to find an in-person test.

There just seems to be like there's some much miscommunication that I already got frustrated and I haven't even gone in yet. Are these warning signs to stay the hell away? I was quite clear and upfront with everything but still. I also found they were sending me so many emails from so many different people despite the fact I had communicated with my supervisor and my supervisor's supervisor beforehand. I guess I was being punished for being broke and having a broken down vehicle. Sadly there's no public transportation near my area so those were the circumstances I faced.
