Are we in a loop of working hard and realxing our efforts over and over again?

Boomers and above get a lot of flak these days, due to some/many bad apples. My theory is that they became the final generation of the cycle, this time around. Gen X let their foot of the working-gas somewhat, and the milennials, and now gen Z dont take shit from anyone. Good! But maybe this has happened before, and the generation after Z will slowly but surely grow some over-achievers who will try to get ahead? And then it just might spread to even more of their children again, and then in a few generation we're back to boomers 2.0? What do ya'll think? Is this just a loop? And the workers revolution in the 20s was the previous gen Z? So this could be the only time better working hours and pay is achieveable for the next 100 years?
