Are you in it for the money?

The other day, I handed in my two weeks' notice, and my employer asked, “So you're only in it for the money?” Yes. Sure, I am. To shelter and feed my family, I need additional money. I had to find it somewhere else since you didn't provide it to me. I've been working for my employer for 4 years, and if someone else wants to hire me to do another job, they'll pay me much more. I'll accept it. Neither “we're a family” nor “I LOVE SaaS platforms and it's always been my goal to work at one” are the reasons I'm here. Lol. Pay me, you fucks.
