If it weren’t for people standing up for workers, making their voices heard, paternity leave would not be a thing. Sadly it’s still not a reality for many new fathers, but I believe we are making progress. I also believe that the new wave of workers demanding more freedom and autonomy was what made my company change its practices this year and offer paid paternity leave. Because of us, because of you, my wife and I are able to be full-time parents.
And yes, we’ve both averaged about 4 hours of sleep for the last week! Another cup of coffee wouldn’t hurt…
