For ease, I've converted the amount into USD from INR but basically I have to do a compulsory offline internship by my college else they'll withhold my degree. I got an offer from a pretty big company in India and they're paying me $160 a month to work from 9 AM – 7 PM in the office which is $0.6 an hour. I can't believe it when people are upset about having to work for $15 an hour but I understand the cost of living is different. However, this is so f*cked up and I absolutely hate corporates because of how pathetic older people are, especially to intern girls. I feel so unsafe working from the office anywhere here and I can't believe I am forced to show a WFO certificate to GRADUATE. Ugh. I don't want to work.
