I'm writing this in regards to a recent post made here on r/antiwork stating that unions will be made responsible for any profit loss during strikes. I have again come to the conclusion that the court system has been put into place to protect the interests of corporations and not the interests of the people.
So, I have just one thing to say – as long as we keep on participating in the purposefully corrupt system, nothing will ever change. The only reason why none of us are free is because we keep showing up at those 9-5 jobs. The only reason why none of us are free is because we are slaves to money. If we keep on participating in this system, we will all be chewed up and spit out at age 60-70 with no power left to change the world.
The rich will always have their systems in place, they will always have the judges in their back pockets and we will always end up being the ones fucked. So, I say to you – is it worth it to try and change a system that has been corrupt since it's very inception? Is it worth it to participate in it, knowing full well that it's designed to work against all of us?
Or is it better to do something about it?
Tackling the issue the legal way is unlikely to work. The only thing we can do is simply not to participate. Your boss calls you to show up at work? Sorry, can't do. I'm too busy living my life. We must organize not just on a small level but we must organize on a global scale. We don't have to take it to the streets, we just have to say: “No!” However, we must find a way to take care of each other outside of the monetary system. We must start growing our own food, we must find ways to source water independently from the large companies and the same should apply for electricity.
We must find a way to be completely independent from the 1% who have enslaved us all.
Only then shall we able to solve the world's problems like climate change, homelessness, etc.
P.S. One last thing – how many of you are willing to fight for real change (Please comment below)? Politicians won't do it, the judges won't do it, so it's completely up to us. Is it worth it to waste 40+ years of your life in a cubicle enriching the already rich, or is it more worth it to stand up and bring about a change in the world that is long-overdue?
Do let me know.
