I had an interview the other day and I asked about work-life balance. I got phone call today saying that they wanted someone to work passed their scheduled 8-5 work day due to new work coming on. Other than that I had all qualifications and I currently perform this job in my current position.
The best part is the guy who interviewed me ruled me out because I asked about work-life balance when he had to cut our interview short to go coach his kid. Which is cool, but that’s why I got ruled out. This was the second scheduled time because the first time I got notified 15 minutes before the scheduled time, which I was off work for.
