Asking for a large wage increase

What do ya'll think? I've worked as a healthcare recruiter since August 2021. Anything you would add/takeaway/change? ​ Good Morning [Name], As we begin to head into my 2nd year as a [position], I'd like to set up a time to formally discuss my role and agree on a salary increase going forward, especially with all the recent changes in the department. Good Morning [Name],

As we begin to head into my 2nd year as a [position], I'd like to set up a time to formally discuss my role and agree on a salary increase going forward, especially with all the recent changes in the department.

I would also like to highlight what I believe to be some accomplishments since starting this position:

  1. I was the first [position] to experience staffing issues as a direct result of the statewide vaccine mandates (in 4 states), and I jumped right in to assist all operations teams to hire for anticipated turnover, despite receiving minimal orientation after only starting 2 weeks prior.

2a. Early on, I developed a system for tracking and processing employee referrals both effectively and efficiently that left little wiggle room for error

2b. Acquired more territory in [recent date] to assure better quality tracking referrals across 8 more states than originally assigned

2c. Audited acquired territory going back several months and caught 50+ referrals that were never or were incorrectly processed going back to January 2022

  1. Quickly implemented a monthly training call schedule for all levels of operations on current tools and resources for recruiting and effectively reaching out to new candidates

  2. Preemptively created recruiting flyers for my entire territory, so as to decrease lag time between need, request, and fulfillment

  3. Tracked spend and ROI on 35+ direct mailer campaigns in my territory to determine the effectiveness of the program

6a. Developed my own tracking tool to stay on top of retention bonus programs in my area, which was then used as a model for a corporate report 

6b. I also caught a huge mistake in Jan 2022, where a statewide retention bonus was implemented for [Incorrect State] that was intended for [Correct State]- Saving us a potential thousands in misappropriated funds, among other potential issues among new hires

6c. This was also when I was told I was 'the favorite' because [I] stay so organized and on top of things'

  1. Piloted a statewide [Media Company] Media campaign in [State]

  2. During the realignment of our department in [Recent Date], the facility count in my territory grew by 93, 3 more entire regions, and 3 partial regions (12% more than I had previously).

  3. During an informal conversation, I committed to be a designated pilot & program implementation person

  4. Piloting [New Recruiting Software], and other recruiting software if needed

  5. I have expressed a desire to develop/grow this position and myself further. 

Besides my accomplishments, inflation has dramatically increased the cost of living across the country. And despite the Feds attempt to slow it down by dramatically increasing interest rates over the last few months (and in the months to come), inflation is only continuing to maintain/increase, and shows no signs of it truly being 'transitory' or deflating in the future. The new CPI appears to be here to stay.

While I am more than happy to take on more territory, responsibility and projects partially for the sake of self-development, I also do not feel that it should go uncompensated as the company also benefits from that. 

As such, I am requesting I be considered for a 12% increase this year to [dollar amount]. Again, this is considering the following:

  1. Accomplishments thus far, meeting and exceeding the responsibilities of my job description

2a. Increase in territory and areas of responsibility

2b. The department has shrunk, saving the company money but also freeing up dollars to reward those of us who are still here

  1. Inflation/CPI, year over year

  2. Converted to a flat rate salary structure from salary/bonus structure and forgone any sort of increase that I would have normally received at the end of 2021

  3. Recent change in Mileage reimbursement policy would have financially impacted me very positively had I stayed in operations

  4. Personal desire to grow/develop myself and this position further within the company

  5. As of Q1 2022, [company] is now meeting their EPS and Revenue goals
