It's 46 degrees and rainy out. After clocking in my boss walks by and tells me drivers are waiting in their cars today (I deliver pizza) and on my way out adds “You're not allowed to wear your jacket anymore, did you buy one of ours?” Of course I didn't, the store only pays me $5 an hour and the tips in my area are the worst I've ever seen. I've had nights where I go 4 deliveries in a row with no tip at all. I told her no and she just repeats “Okay but you can't wear that jacket anymore.” I would understand a hoodie covering my shirt, but I have a knock off Northface jack from Walmart, plain black with no logos and unzipped. At the end of my shift I'm considering telling them to only schedule me if it's 60 degrees or warmer. Any advice?
I got an interview with a 40 minute notice. Got ready real quick and drove 30 minutes there. After filling out some papers and talking for 40 minutes I got told I can't be hired because of driving record. Way to waste my time!
This is what is wrong with the world.
Antiwork Newsweek article

Every few weeks there's a protest because people don't have access to things that have been promised for decades. Then there's a promise, and a failure to provide, and then a other protest. And the worst of it all? The same government that has failed the people for 3 decades wins the election. Every. Single. Time. This despite the fact that the one province where there is actually good governance is run by the opposition. What has this got to with antiwork? Like people here, you (I'm looking at you, USA) keep doing the same thing over and over over, thinking…
