Why WFH should be here to stay
I filled my gas tank on February 13. It didn't need to be filled, it was still more than half full. I paid $24. This coming Sunday will be a full month since I've filled my tank. I may go to the store once this week, leaving me with between half and three quarters of a tank. When I was commuting, I was filling my tank every FIVE DAYS. The amount of gasoline my family has saved over the past two years could be hugely significant if everyone that could work from home is allowed to. My husband never has to go back, I'm changing jobs so I never have to go back. We know this is a privilege, and we are incredibly thankful. But it should be standard practice for anyone that can accomplish their tasks regardless of location.

She works for a national restaurant chain as a waitress and makes just below $3 per hour plus tips. We were talking about the minimum wage and she was INSISTANT that it not be raised because companies cannot afford it. So let me break it down, you see how this multi billion dollar corporation has money for countless buildings, advertisements and administrative salaries. But they can't give you more than THREE DOLLARS PER HOUR? TWNETY FOUR DOLLARS PER EIGHT HOUR SHIFT?????? REALLY???? Fucking brainwashed.
