Y’all, I got to tell y’all something. I’m still shocked. I done submitted this post in askHR for some clarification on this. But, I’m sharing it here too. So, I submitted my accommodations letter because I have ADHD and taking medication has to be shown at my job just in case I get drug screen. Well my doctor wrote the accommodations letter explaining my mental health diagnose, the accommodations I will need, and the mg I take for my ADHD medication. Well, HR said “it’s not acceptable” and my doctor needed to write my accommodations to all 14 bullet points. I go to my doctor and rely what HR said. My doctor flat out said, “ No. I am not writing all your accommodations to each bullet point on that paper. I’m more insulted than if we hadn’t had the conversation at all. No need to discuss any further because I’m out as soon as I get another lead. I didn’t get a masters to be handed pennies for my time. For what it’s worth, this is for a major media company that is big enough to be a household name.
Sure, there has been some, but not nearly as much as people are claiming. It’s evident in the record breaking profits of all the monopolies with food, gas etc. without (and this is key) an increase of margins. If it was inflation alone, there wouldn’t be a rise in profit due to increased margins. Profits are gapping margins! This is further exacerbated by the lack of a free market existing and driving down prices with competition due to the monopolies.

So I was working for a sandwich delivery spot that had recently been sold to a new set of owners. They were nice enough but really had to appease corporate as they were franchisee's. We were a very busy store on a major campus. The ownership and management shift had caused a majority of the old crew to quit or be fired, classic cleaning house approach.
