Being the worst kind of dictators,..trying to belittle others for making mistakes..hurt others emotions and threaten others to just get more attention and validation.thinking that they are so cool in doing so and trying to create a situation of chaos in workplace so that the company will profit from the situation.making inhumane decisions ,disrespecting employers ,speaking behind their backs and telling that they support them..what sort of devil's comlanies had created by feeding money .. Does this companies know that they are creating this cold hearted people ..
About a year ago my manager and I signed off on a promotion to keyholder position with raise when we had a consistent staff, schedule and customer base. It’s retail so I completely understood and waited. We signed a written piece of paper and I took it in good faith. It finally happened the other day but as soon as the talk of the raise came up it suddenly became “oh I’ll have to talk to my boss” My boss talked to their boss, and now apparently there just won’t be a raise with the title promotion and extra responsibility that is entailed with being a key holder. The reason being is that the entire company did a training course to allow the entire staff a small raise. I’ve been treated like absolute garbage by the general retail/consumer public in hopes of a decent (or livable) raise with this promotion…
For my last day….
So on my last day my employer decided to pack up my desk. Which included a cup half full of coffee with all my electronics. My AirPods, desk fan, charging cords, and everything else is ruined and soaked with coffee. I’ve called HR, but what can I do? Can an employer do this?! This was Alaskahousing. Can add pictures below.
Read the small print smh
So I'm a new hire but my Starbucks is one of the top performers in the state. Getting the news that our hours will be gutted is obviously concerning. My management is delightful, I obviously don't blame them and the staff is 90% top notch. (Higher than average based on experience.) I want to help them, I want to help me. I want everyone's hard work to be rewarded. Is that possible or am I a fucking idiot?
I keep explaining to boomer family that minimum wage is not a livable wage. They say it's something to keep food on table and I say yeah after they have to go to food bank. I was really surprised since they are liberal.
