Seems like a lot of commies hiding in this sub have spread the idea that we have to sympathize them because we’re both working class. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that this sub is NOT for commie sympathizers. These people do NOT deserve your patience, if you meet one then don’t try to debate them- Tell them to go fuck themselves down a staircase. No sympathy for genocide deniers and commies here, the door’s over there if you disagree

I just took a position at a school district under the supervision of a clinician I like. I interned for them and chalked up the difficulties to remote learning (internship was in 2020 when we were still figuring out how zoom worked). The job is as a therapist at a district with low income and high crime rates in the area. So very high need. Anyway, I was happy to get in there face the red tape challenges even though the pay is roughly$3 per hour less and only 30 hrs a week. This is technically a pay cut and my old job didn't even require an advanced degree! Anyway, she is telling me how excited she is to have me and how they have had a lot of people quit. I asked why and jokingly asked how they were scaring people off. She said they were all weak and…
hi everyone, i’m in an awkward situation and i thought i could get some good insight from here. A good friend of mine died like 3 days ago from an OD, he was 17, its tearing me up inside and i (18) know i need to take time off to grieve, i just don’t know how to ask my boss. for context, i work at a pizza franchise, we are so understaffed that me taking this time off on such a short notice will cause a major disruption. however i’ve been recovering from trauma and substance abuse for about a year, my emotions are kinda fragile. if i don’t heal right ill probably end up back where i was before i started fixing my life. i don’t know what to do tbh, i already had to leave work early the past two shifts because of this and my boss was…
I live in Austria, und luckily, many of the issues discussed in this sub aren't as pronounced over here. However… I was applying for a job for a big American software testing company that also has an office in Vienna. Pay seemed good, so I figured, why not. My first interview literally took five minutes and was with some first level recruiting lady. She asked me about my salary range, and that was basically it. She couldn't answer any of my questions (not even if this was a fully remote position) and was telling me to wait for the hiring manager. Her job seems to be to write a short summary about me, because that is what she asked me to do for her. So I literally copied the most important five lines from my CV (which she had, ofc) and sent them to her. The next thing I heard…
