I've been working at my current job for almost 6 months. Was given a yearly raise based on 4 months of work equaling 1 percent. I get to make an extra 380 dollars this year. Regardless of how long I've been there, this should be absolutely criminal.

I didn’t take the job
I got an interview at this boutique in a very upscale area and the owner came out and talked to me but she didn’t seem interested in me that much and then after talking for less than 5 minutes, she told me that my clothes were not the vibe she was going for (I dressed appropriately for a job interview, I didn’t just walk off the street) and that I wasn’t wearing enough makeup for the job. I obviously didn’t take the job but wtf
FYI Red Lobster should be avoided
The CEO was on Bloomberg radio last week and they talked about the labor crunch. She went on about how they were successful holding wages down to 11% and will push them further this year. When the host asked to talk about their average wage, she said “We don't discuss wages as it may hurt us”. Fuck this mindset
Why aren’t you a radical at this point?
Honest question. It makes sense to me.
