Whaaaat is going on right now. He deleted the message right after he sent it, but it read, “Hey (HR person), please begin the termination process for (me). He has been (all of the reasons I'm being fired)”. He then called me an hour later and asked if I was ok, like gauging to see if I read his message before he deleted it. I said I saw his message, and he said he was so sorry about the message mix up and that it was meant for HR, but he feels remorse and really actually doesn't want to fire me and he wants to work it out. I feel so uncomfortable right now what do I do? Edit: important detail I forgot to add. I already have another job lined up with an offer letter being sent today. Should I ask them to follow through with the termination if…

Everywhere you look in society: People can’t help themselves. “Ooh the new iPhone 12 w/ one more camera than the last one!”. “Ooh NBA 2k22, waaaaaay different than 2k21”. “I need this Amazon delivery”. “I need a Quarter Pounder”. No. You don’t, actually. If you’re impulses are that uncontrollable: You need therapy, you need to work on your compulsive addiction(s) and you need to learn how to manage your responsibilities properly.
Get a job losers
All you lazy fucking smelly Reddit mfs should get a job
Nevada Masks
So Nevada dropped the mask mandate, but my work wants us to continue wearing them “for the safety of the employees.” I've been vaccinated, I'm not going to get anything from an employee, and I'm not going to give anyone anything. I work for a pizza place and I deliver, none of my delivery customers have a mask on when I bring them their food. Do I need to find out if this is a Company policy, a store policy or just the managers preference ? I'm done with masks.
We could make this a big thing have different little businesses around the world available to everyone like Amazon that suits everyone’s wants and needs like not having to sign anything and able to get get hired with no questions and being paid 50$ minimum and 100$ maximum or whatever seems reasonable since there will be no employer everyone will have equal say in these businesses and we can make the business brand name called anti work or whatever seems the best name. Won’t have to work in person if you don’t want to, you can work at home with no restrictions. We can make our own jobs that we want by making them ourselves. What do you boys and girls think about this would this work or not or have any suggestions on what the business will be working on or just suggestions in general?
TL;DR: School principal sent staffing needs form, worried if I respond honestly that I won't be coming back they will take away my two months of paid summer vacation. Long time lurker, never thought I'd have anything to add to here but I have a question. I currently work as a teacher at a middle school, and needless to say I am far from thrilled in my current role. My background is in sports medicine (collegiate athletic trainer for 2 years prior to coming here) and I am looking to get out of this environment. The school dumps an unbelievable amount of responsibility on me because I am somewhat comfortable in a lot of things that are not anywhere near my job description (i.e, somehow becoming the IT person, handle all of the audio/visual equipment for assemblies, etc.), and despite having a masters degree in sport and fitness administration, I…
I can’t tell you how many union “bullies” stories I’ve heard. As much as I’d like to see more unions, I’m very much anti-grossly overpaid windbags
Am a 29 yr old male employed by a company under a multinational. You all know how it is with multinationals. My monthly pay is roughly 400us after taxes.(Am in a middle management position). My first born is on the way. It got me thinking into investments and led to me to research and a found out gaps in developing countries and developed countries. A friend of mine started a registered microfinance and they lend US dollars at 25%. Investors are offered 4% per month(tax free). I found out that in USA or developed countries there is no such return on any investment. Regestering your own microfinance requires US25k as capital. The problem is this, l have no that kind of money but not impossible to raise. Why do you all think??…….to be continued
