I applied to this job a few weeks ago and get hired on the spot. They have me complete all of my paperwork that same day and I also turn in my background check.
I admitted to having a citation and a few tickets and that’s pretty much it. I also have one misdemeanor from years ago that was dismissed which I included but did not go into detail because of the dismissal.
I got an email about 1 week later explaining that I need to provide more information in order to move forward in the hiring process. Now I’m not exactly in a rush to start this job but I do think this process is kind of silly, I ended up receiving another email asking for specific case numbers and detailed descriptions.
Now I’m just put off, I would expect this from a government job or a position in an HR department but to be a pool server at a hotel? For less than my states minimum wage? Read at 11:01am.
