I genuinely love what I do but shitty bosses who only cares about power struggles have left me feeling like leaving the profession all together. I have 10+ yrs in the game and I'm completely fed up at this point. Current manager pays me for 40hrs a week as salary, unpaid over time. Im consistently pushed to work at least 60 and now im pushed to do even more. Im saying he need to bring in more resources as Im only one person and well on my way to burn out. His response, “have you tried to work smarter” like Ive had it at this point. And this is the 5th place that treats everyone like we should be indentured servants. Things got way worse during and “after” covid
