Lured into this with a promised 20% increase for one job ,but the exec interviewed me and said how good I am at my current job and asked me if I wanted the same role BUT “because our culture makes it better”. Obviously, no, you put up with the hassle of losing job security, health insurance, and benefits for MORE money. Thought they understood this was a NOPE.
They had the recruiter reach out to me to offer me this job, he KNEW I didn't want and he had no idea why they were so intent on it.
How can people be so insulated from life that they don't understand how disruptive a job change is.
Why do it when there is ZERO additional benefit?
