I applied for a warehouse job. $20 an hour 10 hr shifts, 5 days. Loading furniture onto trailers. Get to the interview site. Interviewer says the position is 18.25/hr, 12 hour shifts, 5 days a week with Saturday’s being required when needed. Completely different position. Not the first this has happened either. Job hunt’s been a bitch. Most of the time i don’t even here shit back. Applied to every grocery store in town with 2 years of grocery experience under my belt including cashiering, produce, frozen work and dairy work. 1 year of warehouse too. At least I got a part time job doing janitor shit but that barely covers my bills with whatever left goes to feed my nicotine addiction. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
