Honestly, I’m fed up with this archaic, outdated concept of having employees be in their office for 8-9 hours a day even after they’ve fulfilled their job duties and forcing them to come in at a certain time when they know that they can get their work done at home or coming in later in the day. We have phones and established, robust cellular / wired networks. Anyone can be reached at any time. We are no longer a workforce of manual labor and pen & paper. I’m tired of this obsolete holdover and saddened to see that some of our greatest businesses still perpetuate this notion.
