Antiwork

Been a manager at my company for almost a full year, just found out I only make 75 cents more than basic employees.

I work as a manager at a grocery store I don’t want to name, and I’ve worked for the company for about 3 years, and have been a manager for almost a full year. I do a lot around the store, I manage dates, I make the daily schedule, I make deposits to the bank, I train new hires and new managers, I do the order for various departments. I make $14.75 an hour. New hires make $14, and they get to sit on register all day. I get told how much I’m appreciate, but honestly I don’t feel appreciated at all. Got denied for a raise, but can’t find any other work, living the American dream.
