I kindly get Fridays off though cause my boss can't get childcare that day so I can WFH. Needs me in the office so if they need to show me something they can walk over instead of emailing me, or video calling me. I've had 80% of messages and emails ignored by this person and the excuse was because sometimes they need to do things which require turning off email and focusing. So how does my physical location, paying for commuting rectify them still not having time to train me or speak to me. Ironically when I also block out my calendar to do the same thing, I get pulled into performance reviews for daring to say I have other things I need to focus on for the next few hours so this will need to be done later.
I said no. Will be interesting to see the outcome of this one.
