Don't get me wrong, I'm still stoked to work here but I'm in a different shop than usual and the staff are a little bit different..
Today is a 12 hour day, which means I get 60 minutes of break time (either 2×30 or 1×45 1×15 or 1×60) and that's a legal requirement.
I just told them I'm going on my dinner break (it's quiet so may as well get it out of the way) and I'm sitting out back and one of the staff comes out and says we get one break today. I said downstairs I always take two, and she said OK I guess that's fine. Yeah I know it's fine, because I'm taking my legally entitled 30 minute dinner break. I'm not gonna fuck up my routine or work my entire ass off (there's not much there to begin with) on a 12 hour day without taking a couple breaks.
I'm gonna bring it up to my manager cos it's fucking weird.
