Being an “Exempt Employee” in the USA means you have absolutely no workers rights.

Well lessons learned for future employment. If you are in the USA and get a job that labels you exempt your employer can. Make you work/be on call 24/7 2.Work national holidays and weekends even if the company gives it off. 3.No overtime whatsoever even when you work 60-70 hour weeks which is the norm. 4.Basically your work can make you live in the office as they layoff everyone and keep you to do all the work. Math comes out to me basically making minimum wage for the hours i work. I qualify for exemption but just barely. I thought i would be making a lot more money per hour in this job. Oh what a fool i was/am.
