I may or may not have been exposed to COVID at my job and I've had to get tested twice now. My boss is not letting me come back to work until the PCR test results come back (which will be after the long weekend) and all this time I'm not getting any PTO for this……..
I'm stressed out because my fridge is getting more and more empty by the day and I'm still waiting to hear back if I will get food stamps or not. All the gig jobs in my area have been taken recently and barely any are available due to everyone else also being in a poverty shithole. I really don't know what to do once food runs out, and unfortunately this job only pays $12/hr with only 20 hrs a week max and no benefits so my paychecks are like $200 and that's just enough to pay the utilities.
