Long story short I got a job during end of Juneish doing work from home and the office is in a city about hour drive and the pay isn't great about 20ish doing medical work. Start of july they said for us to be in office once a week and for us to be dealing with walk ins that we haven't had training for. I do have a little one and have a set time for drop off and pick up for that I am at the max time for earliest and latest, and I deal with anxiety with driving that's why I got the work from home and put in for being able to stay remotely. With doctors note and everything it was rejected and still have to do it once a week, I have been trading shift so I can but the coworker is not able to now which is okay but what my issue is that last week there was a case of flu and covid at the centre and this week my little one is sick so I called in for my in office but still worked from home. They sent a email saying because you asked for accommodation and the day you called of we need a letter from the centre stating that they had a case. I don't think they can do that but I sent a screenshot of the app they use for related information /check in for the centre and it was dated Aug 3 but they say that's not good enough we need a newer date and if I have symptoms I need to send a picture of the test and of me doing said test. Tydr asked for accommodation for wfh and ended up having to call in due little one being sick, still worked from home but employer doesn't believe me and demands proof because of the rejected accommodation.
Can they do that? They are being almost hostile about it….
