Best Buy application

So I’ve had my resume on indeed for years. I’m not actually look for a job right now, but I keep my resume active. Last week I was notified by indeed Best Buy wanted me to apply to a job they had. I looked at the position and applied. Next day I get a message from Best Buy through the indeed app that Best Buy wanted me to fill out an app on their website and get into their system. I already did that in indeed, plus they have my resume. There was a phone number attached to the email so I gave a call and left a message. The conversation the next day with whoever I called was just comical. She said I just had to get my information into their system to continue the process. I explained how that seemed like hr’s job. Next day I get a message from Best Buy through the indeed app that Best Buy wanted me to fill out an app on their website and get into their system.

I already did that in indeed, plus they have my resume. There was a phone number attached to the email so I gave a call and left a message.

The conversation the next day with whoever I called was just comical. She said I just had to get my information into their system to continue the process. I explained how that seemed like hr’s job. I asked if I was hired if I could forward my paperwork to her to have it entered into their system. Once she figured out my point the call ended abruptly.
