Hey so I'm going into tech and would like some advice. I'm really confused because I've heard a lot of conflicting information from people about career paths: some are literally working all the time with no chance to have a life, while others barely work in a day and get paid loads.
I've tried to inquire about what roles can lead to the latter, but obviously everyone says the thing they do is the best, or to “just do what you enjoy”.
Honestly what I'd enjoy is to earn as much as possible while working as little as possible. The only reason I ever care about having a high wage is because my parents are poor and one of them is sick, so I'll have to start sending money their way (which is fucked). Cost of living going up isn't helping either.
Does anyone have any experience in this field and could give me some pointers towards securing what I'm looking for?
