I work for a big bank, I’m in customer service the job is brain numbing. The benefits seem great at first but we get 5 callouts a year. That’s it. We can’t get excused for being sick, covid was the first time we got approved leave without getting an occurrence for missed work.
I’ve been working from home nearly 3 years and they are now forcing us to return to office. Cutting any covid leave. And I’m going to have to go back to being in an office being exposed to sick people who aren’t motivated to stay home when they are sick.
Things could be so much better if they didn’t have this weird asinine desire for us to not work from home, despite our jobs literally having no potential for collaboration, and we are not allowed to talk to people in office.
I feel so utterly stuck, frustrated, and angry. It’s not as awful as other places. But I literally make minimum pay for this place despite having worked for 4 years with them. I don’t think I can take it much longer.
